What this application stores
When you enter a chart, a private session cookie stores its signature for up to 24 hours so you can move between the entry form and results. It is not included in public URLs. An optional birth date supports age and date projections.
When signed in, you can explicitly save profiles to your account. Access is restricted to your user account through database ownership policies. The current build uses Supabase for accounts and database storage.
Control your profiles
Place search sends the city name you type to Open-Meteo, using GeoNames location data. It does not send your birth date or time. The FreeAstrologyAPI receives your birth date and time, birthplace coordinates, and the time offset in effect at birth to calculate the Moon’s position. It does not receive your name or email address. A local calculation option may also be used during development. Calculated profiles retain the calculation settings, birthplace, birth time, and timezone used, so you can see how the result was obtained.
You can delete saved profiles and permanently delete your account from account settings. Account deletion requires your password and is blocked while an active membership remains. Signing out clears the temporary chart cookie. Research subjects are not linked to your account, and the imported research does not guess identities or shared case relationships.
Before public launch
Operator contact details, retention rules, and payment and email processor information must be finalized before the service accepts public subscriptions. Checkout and research emails remain inactive until configured.
